Portable Socket Outlets

The portable socket outlets designed
by NCE Electrical (S) has a revolutionary 2-pin plug compatibility design
that does not require any two pin plug key or external adapters.
All portable socket outlets tested and
approved by the respective safety boards in Singapore certify that the high-impact polycarbonate socket
outlet casing is unbreakable and completely fireproof. The cable of the portable socket outlet
itself is tested and passed by PSB as a separate component. NCE Electrical (S) uses 3-core or 3 wires
cable for all the portable socket outlets. Designed for high power
consumption and higher temperature tolerance, the cable can support loads of
not more than 3250W.
The socket outlets are designed mainly
with
mould cast plug of high-grade plastic that is rugged
for use in demanding environments or conditions. 5 types of portable socket outlets are
available with several different features for each type of portable socket
outlet.

Adapters

Similar to the unique 3-pin socket
outlet design that is directly compatible with 2-pin plug or unearthed
electrical equipment (Class 2 equipment), the adapters also possess the same superior quality
casing used in the portable socket outlets.
Special models are equipped with features
such as neon lights during power on and surge protecting units for
guaranteed protection in thunderstorm conditions during continuous use.
There are three types of adapters at NCE
Electrical (S); multi-adapters, switched and non-switched adapters.

Cable Reels

Having obtained safety standards for
both the casing and the plug, NCE Electrical (S) cables reels are made of
the best qualities ever revolutionised in electrical safety and can support
up to a maximum of 2500W when fully unwound.
Designed for the 2-pin plug
compatibility, NCE cable reels are the first of their kind in the local market.
Robust and durable, there are
two cable lengths currently available; 6m and 10m.

Plugs
-
Surge protection is the main feature
in the plugs designed by NCE Electrical (S). However, non-surge protection
plugs are available as well as neon plugs. The plugs are also made of the
same material used in the portable socket outlets.
Recently, there are only two models
available, a 1988 88R and a 1989 89R. Both plugs are standard approved plugs
and are still in demand today. In addition, the 89R is incorporated with
surge protection features to cater today's consumers.
2 types of models are available and each
type has 2 different varieties.
